From the Doctor: Mandana Kouroshnia, DDS

I am Dr. Mandy Kouroshnia. I attended McMaster University in Hamilton Canada, majoring in Biochemistry. I then completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery at the renowned Art Dugoni School of Dentistry in SanFrancisco in June of 2004. After a few years working as an associate in southern California and teaching at Loma Linda University in restorative department, I opened my own practice in Fresno, California.

Five years later I relocated to NYC to complete a residency in Dental Anesthesia at Jacobi Med Center, a trauma level I hospital in the NY metropolitan area. As a chief resident, I had the opportunity to see and work with many challenging and interesting cases. Like many, I too fell in love with the vibrant, cultured, and beautiful New York City. Once my residency training was over, I decided to call it home for me and my two wonderful daughters.

Over my many years of practice, I have encountered many anxious patients and realized how this alone can prevent so many from receiving the dental care they so much need. I am passionate about helping my patients achieve their optimum oral health in a warm, relaxed, and compassionate setting. With my dental art work, along with patient education and awareness, I hope to work toward the union of a brighter and healthier smile.
