Among many challenging and complex projects Stylish Windows, Inc has completed, we take great pride in the completion of the American Finance Museum’s window treatments. This particular project, located at the former bank of New York at 48 Wall Street, was very exciting for me as a small business partner. I was very eager to get involved since a project like that does not come around every day, and due to my nature of constantly challenging my limits.

This particular project was extremely difficult to fabricate and install due to several factors; we only had two months to complete the fabrication and installation including ordering of all fabrics, hardware, and the motorization components; the fabrication timing was not in our favor as it was Christmas time and the fabricators were preoccupied with many orders that had to be completed in time for the holidays; the size of the windows posed another great challenge to us as the window treatments had to be installed inside the casing, and even the most minor error in the measurement or fabrication, meant that the window treatments will not fit into the casing of the windows. In addition, during the installation process the museum had other projects that were going on, in particular exhibits that were mounted in front of the windows, which prevented us from getting full access to the windows.

Due to the fact that I was determined to get involved in this project, I did not see any other option but to face the challenges and do everything in my power to complete it on schedule and in the best possible way. Since the fabricators were backed up with many other orders, the only option that I had to complete this project was to start helping them with the fabrication process. This meant that I had to fabricate the arched frames by myself, have the fabricators upholster them, and I finally needed to deliver and install them.

While involved in a project like that, unexpected challenges constantly arise; however, we are able to come up with solutions in a short period of time, which is what makes us different from most companies out there. Throughout the New York Metropolitan area there are few companies that are able to fabricate such exceptional projects, and stylish windows, Inc is one of them.
